Macy’s corporate has selected Dan Sandys of The Dan Sandys Entertainment Group to be the “Voice” of Macy’s. This year Macy’s purchased Hecht’s department stores and has begun the change over. Dan Sandys, who hosted the “Macy’s Back to School” event at the Columbia Macy’s in August, has been chosen to host the entire schedule of Macy’s in store events and promotions.

Dan Sandys (WWW.Washington DCDj.Com) will be hosting and emceeing this gala event. The Columbia native will be providing all day entertainment at the Columbia Macy’s on September 16 th, 2006 from 11:00am to 8:00pm.

“Working with Macy’s flagship store of all 850 across the country is a true honor. A new line of apparel and accessories has been featured along with an entirely new look to the store it’s self, this is very exciting!”

The event will ask you to purchase a $5.00 dollar card that the proceeds go to the charity of your choice, and that same card will offer you 20% off store items all day long. Over 10,000 tickets (cards) have been sold so far, so don’t miss out! These cards will also be available at Macy’s on the 16 th at all registers.
